Deltona Strong is a grassroots citizens action coalition. We're neighbors who decided that a stronger Deltona starts with us. As a non-partisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2018, we work from one simple belief: when people come together across every background, no challenge in our community is too big to take on.

We do the on-the-ground work that holds a community together. We grow food and connection at the Vann Park Community Garden. We build civic engagement through Be the Change Deltona. We research the issues that hold our neighbors back and organize around real solutions. And when disaster strikes, like Hurricane Ian, we show up for the families who need it most.

We also bring Deltona together through the community events we host and facilitate:

Wig Out for Cancer, raising money to help local cancer patients right here in our community
The 2026 Bike Walk Safety Fair, helping families stay safe on our streets
The 2026 Senior Prom, giving our older neighbors a night to celebrate and connect
