And 1 in 3 women have been unable to work, attend school, or fulfill their commitments because they couldn’t buy these essentials?

Period products and undergarments are not luxury items – they are essential basic needs.

Lack of access to these necessary products has serious consequences for women’s health, community connections, educational achievement, and economic stability.

Thanks to generous supporters like you, BRAWS provides monthly deliveries of pads, tampons, bras, and underwear to local shelters, schools, food pantries, and other community organizations in the DC metro area.

Since 2015, BRAWS has distributed more than 6 million products to women and girls experiencing homelessness, poverty, domestic violence, unemployment, and other crisis situations.

PRODUCT DONATIONS
BRAWS accepts donations of new, unopened packages of pads and tampons and new w/ tags bras, sports bras, and underwear.

Donations may be dropped off at the BRAWS office (2102 Gallows Road, Suite C (1st Floor), Vienna, VA), Monday-Wednesday between 10 am - 3 pm.
