The Foundation for Women’s Education in the Rural World is a Utah 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that supports Gramyanchal Mahila Vidyapeeth (GMV), a school for girls in Ganga Pur, India. GMV provides a high-quality education to rural girls who have no other opportunity to realize their hopes and dreams. Getting an education transforms the lives of the girls, their families, and their communities.

We focus scholarship efforts on girls in grades 6-12—these are the years when they are most likely to drop out. Every additional year of education that a girl receives makes a difference in her life. Thanks to low costs in India, you actually can provide a whole year of education for a girl at GMV for just $106.

Every cent that is donated to our Foundation directly supports girls’ education. Your support directly enables us to provide essential resources and instructional support where they are needed most. We invite you to join us in this investment in our shared future.
