Why I built this

I'm a veteran. I went through the VA claims process myself and kept running into the same wall everyone does. The information exists, it's published federal law, but it's buried in regulatory language that takes a law degree to parse. Meanwhile, other tools were charging veterans $5, $10, $20 a month just to see the criteria behind their own rating. Criteria that's already public. Already free. Already theirs by right.

That felt wrong. So I built RatingScope.

What RatingScope actually does

Every condition on RatingScope is sourced directly from 38 CFR, the actual federal regulation VA uses to decide disability ratings. Not a summary. Not a paraphrase. The real criteria, cited to the exact section and subsection, verified by a real person before it goes live. No AI guessing at your number. No outcome promises. Just the truth, laid out clearly so you can walk into your next exam, appeal, or VSO appointment knowing exactly what they're looking at.

Why free matters

Veterans navigating a claim are already fighting on multiple fronts. The last thing they should have to do is pay for access to information that was always legally theirs. RatingScope will never put that information behind a paywall.
