Our mission is to alleviate hunger and foster a supportive community by providing nutritious food and resources to individuals and families in need. Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we strive to create a sustainable future where everyone has access to the food they need to thrive.

Over 70% of the households we serve are living at or below the poverty level. For many families in our community, access to consistent, nutritious food is not guaranteed. Across the United States, 1 in 5 children experiences hunger. Here in Beaufort County, that number is even more urgent—1 in 4 children goes to bed hungry.

These are not just statistics, they represent real families in our community who are doing their best to get by each day. Through our partnership with the Food Bank of the Albemarle, we are able to purchase food at just $0.19 per pound—an incredible resource that allows every dollar to go further.

Because of this, a gift of just $10 can provide up to 50 pounds of food for people in our community!
