The Malden Farmers Market was created by three local residents and Malden small‑business owners who shared one simple belief: our community deserved more. They wanted a place where neighbors could gather, where families could access fresh local food, and where small makers and farmers could thrive close to home.

So, they teamed up, pooled their skills, and built something Malden had been missing; a weekly market that brings people together, supports local businesses, and strengthens the community one Wednesday afternoon at a time.

The Malden Farmers Market is supported by local, state and private foundation grants, business sponsorships and vendor fees. While this funding is essential to our success, this only accounts for a portion of the funding needed to run a 20-week season.
