GrandFriend Network is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity launching its pilot program in Columbia, Missouri to reduce loneliness and foster meaningful intergenerational friendships between younger adults and independent older adults.

Research continues to show that strong social connection improves emotional well-being, supports cognitive health, and enhances quality of life. Yet millions of people of every generation continue to experience loneliness and isolation.
