After the 2020 tornado, Nashville Tree Conservation Corps brought volunteers together to plant 680 trees in a two-mile stretch near the path of the tornado in East Nashville.

Six years later, on Sep 26, 2026, volunteers come together once again to care for the trees, a symbol of resilience and investment in our city. The Shelby Avenue Arboretum Volunteer Day is powered by generous neighbors like you.

$25 can buy a shovel or gloves for 5 volunteers
$100 can replace a tree damaged by the ice storm
$250 covers professional care for 20+ trees that need extra TLC
$1,000 can water 10 thirsty trees after this unusually hot summer

NTCC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
