Who We Are

UNSHACKLED is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry located in Chicago, Illinois, that has been sharing the gospel through true-life audio dramas since 1950. Every story we tell is based on a real person whose life was transformed by Jesus Christ — from addicts and skeptics to those simply searching for truth.

Born out of Pacific Garden Mission, a gospel-centered homeless shelter in Chicago, our mission has remained the same for over 70 years: to proclaim the message of salvation and the power of God through audio and video storytelling.
