Sponsor a First Responder for a Day of Healing in Nature
Our nonprofit alpaca sanctuary and nature center in Washington State is excited to offer a unique way to give back to our community’s heroes—our first responders.
Why First Responders?
First responders—police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs—are the people we rely on during emergencies. Their work is crucial, and they are often the first on the scene when we need help the most. While they dedicate themselves to serving others, the high-stress nature of their work means they rarely get time to pause, de-stress, and take care of their own well-being. That’s where we come in.
Why Forest Therapy?
Forest therapy, or "shinrin-yoku," is a nature-based wellness practice that helps reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance mental clarity. At our sanctuary, first responders will spend a restorative day in the forest and time with our gentle alpacas, allowing them to unwind and reconnect with themselves in a peaceful, natural setting.
How You Can Help
For just $50, you can sponsor a first responder to experience a full day of forest therapy. Your donation will cover everything they need for a day of relaxation, from therapy sessions to interactions with our alpacas. Our goal is to sponsor 100 first responders in 2025, providing them with the rest and renewal they deserve.
Help Us Reach Our Goal
With your support, we aim to raise $5,000 to make this vision a reality. By sponsoring a first responder, you are giving back to those who give so much to our communities. Your donation will help them return to their vital work feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Donate Today!
Every dollar helps us reach our goal of providing a meaningful, healing experience for first responders. Sponsor a first responder today and be part of giving them the gift of nature’s healing power!
