The Center for Supportive Communities (CSC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) based in Lawrence, Kansas. CSC is dedicated to using behavior science to create meaningful change for children, families, and communities. We collaborate with families, schools, government agencies, and community organizations to implement individualized, data-driven solutions that cultivate sustainable change and supportive environments.
For over 40 years, CSC’s SupportEd program has served thousands of students, their families, and schools. Expert volunteers provide one-on-one mentorship and mental health support to re-connect students with their school communities and provide the tools they need to succeed. CSC’s consultation and professional development services offer expertise, strategic advice, systematic problem solving, assessment and treatment planning, and hands-on training to help organizations reach their vision of excellence.
At CSC, we believe in our capacity as a society to work together, to identify our most pressing challenges, and to implement solutions that benefit whole families and entire communities.
