Support Builders Society: Cohort III
All donations are appreciated to make future Builder Society trips a reality. They go to subsidizing trip costs and funding our build ongoing projects: a cultural center in Kibbutz Reim and a daycare in Kibbutz Nirim.
Any and every gift goes a very long way as we look to rebuild and build better in Israel. All donations will be received by the AID Coalition, our sponsoring 501c3:
AID Coalition is a U.S. based, non-partisan, non-affiliated, 501(c)(3) approved organization (EIN 93-1616002), dedicated to educating, strengthening, and preserving the democratic foundations of the State of Israel. Donations are exempt under IRS Code, Section U.S. 501 (c)(3). After receiving the donations, tax confirmation letters will be sent to the email used when making the donation.
More about TBS below:
We're a group of young NYC tech executives who care about Israel's future.
After October 7th we organized events to bring the city's young Jewish community together. We raised over $550,000 and hosted speakers including Dan Senor, Mayor Eric Adams, Senator Chuck Schumer, Bret Stephens, and Congressman Ritchie Torres.
In March we organized a trip to Israel for 20 of the most influential members of our community. The handpicked group of tech leaders (i.e. founders, investors, operators) spent five days building a community center in Kibbutz Reim, the kibbutz closest to the Nova music festival massacre, which was severely damaged in October.
By day we worked hard with several Israeli peers. By night we had unique culinary experiences with famous chefs, and intimate conversations with Israel's greatest minds - founders, writers, investors, and politicians. People like Michael Oren, Einat Wilf, Yossi Klein Halevi, Ari Shavit, Avishai Abrahami, and many more.
We thought this trip would be a one-time thing, but then we saw the impact it had on the residents of Reim. To our astonishment, inspired or intrigued by our presence, many of them returned to the kibbutz for the first time since October. Some of them even slept in their homes.
This was going to be a one-time thing.. and then two members of the first trip organized a second one in July 2024. And two members that trip organized a third one in December 2024. We realized we must be onto something.
This isn't a typical bus tour. It's a novel concept inspired by the most impactful era of Israel's history, the pre-state kibbutz era, celebrating life, purpose, work, intellectual engagement, and community.
Almost every participant from both trips has stated, matter of factly, that it changed their lives. We've seen this firsthand: since returning, participants have unleashed a furious energy in hosting dozens of fundraisers, campaigns, and events. We can't wait to share this with more people.
Feel free to take a look at this video and some press on our previous trips.
