Sustain Her Cycle

We launched Sustain Her Cycle because we have witnessed many girls in low-income communities miss school, feel shame, and even face health issues due to a lack of access to menstrual products. As young Kenyan's we now have the power to act with a sustainable, immediate, and lasting solution. This is not just about hygiene, it’s about dignity, education, and basic human rights.

Sustain Her Cycle, a campaign by the African Environmental Youth Advisory (AEYA), working to distribute sustainable, reusable menstrual cups that protect women and allow them to independently care for themselves. 

Each $30 donation provides 5 women or girls with products that last at least 5 years—supporting menstrual health, education, and environmental justice.

In 2025, we reached over three hundred women and refugees with the support of well-wishers, the Mina Foundation, Gift of Givers, and the MYCP.
