A 20-Year Tradition of Helping Students Start Strong

For more than 20 years, KK School Supplies has been a quiet but powerful tradition in western Racine and Kenosha County — making sure local students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

Today, St. Vincent de Paul Racine is honored to serve as the sponsoring organization, helping steward donations and sustain this important community effort.

Each year, KK School Supplies provides 500–800 students in need with backpacks filled with essential school supplies. The program also supports teachers in 15 local schools — many of whom spend up to $1,000 of their own money to make sure their students have the basics.

Your gift helps ease that burden and ensures classrooms are ready for learning from day one.

✏️ Timeline For How We're Working Together:

May-July: Our volunteers collect monetary donations at local retail stores and through online giving.
May–June: Supplies are purchased in bulk using donated funds.
Summer: Items are inventoried and prepared.
Late August–Early September: Volunteers distribute backpacks and supplies to students and partner schools.

🏫 Every donation stays local and goes directly toward purchasing the supplies students and teachers need most.
