We are having a walk, run, and ride for our nonprofit, Sweet Sadie's Difference Makers. This will be our second annual event next to our Benefit Concert. Sarah used to volunteer at Breakheart Reservation. So in honor of Sarah, we will be having a 5k at Breakheart 177 Forest St., Saugus, MA 01906. The proceeds for this event will go towards research for ALS, MDA, and FTD. My Nana Dorothy Giarla and my Uncle Billy Giarla both passed away from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). My sister Sarah passed away from MD(Muscular Dystrophy). My mother, Betty MacIsaac, suffers from FTD(Frontal Temporal Dementia). Registration will be $30 and will start at 10 am. Then the 5K will begin at 11 am. There will be raffles, food, water, t-shirts, and water bottles. Donations are welcome. To register, go to www.sweetsadie.org or scan the QR code.
