Swim Manatee is a free learn-to-swim and water safety program serving families in Manatee County. Our goal is simple: help kids become safer, more confident in and around the water.

So far, we’ve provided over 300 free swim lessons, and more than 250 children have had the opportunity to learn life-saving skills through this program.

This campaign helps us continue that work. It allows us to keep offering free swim lessons, water safety education, and take-home resources for families who may not otherwise have access.

But it’s more than just swimming.

In every lesson, we’re building confidence. We’re teaching kids how to stay calm, how to try again when something feels hard, and how to trust themselves in the water. These are skills that go far beyond the pool.

We keep it simple. One step at a time. One child at a time.
