Every Student Deserves a Backpack Full of Support – Let’s Fill It With Academic Foundations, Not Just Supplies 

Foster care and unhoused youth struggle with stability, academic success and a path rising above the cycle of hardships. Learning Bridge connects caring community volunteers to tutor foster and unhoused youth so they may gain foundations, confidence, and a thriving future. 

• $25 → One tutoring session

• $100 → A full month of weekly support

• $250 → Academic mentorship through a school quarter

How Your Support is Impactful to Students:

• 80% of learning happens outside the classroom. Learning Bridge tutors are consistently there for these vulnerable students. 
• Foster youth are 2x more likely to fall behind without academic mentorship.
• Only about 50% of foster youth graduate from high school. 
• $100 = 1 month of tutoring and encouragement.

Some kids have parents to help with homework. Foster youth often don’t. That’s why I’m helping Learning Bridge match students with tutors and mentors who show up week after week.
