Flag Retirement

Did you know that throwing away an American flag is considered disrespectful? The U.S. Flag code states, “The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem of display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.” 

Let the scouts of Pasadena's Troop 21 perform a proper flag retirement ceremony for your flag.  We'll pick up from the following areas: Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, La Canada and San Marino.

Scout level or above: we'd be happy to pick up your flag at the address you provide. 

Below Scout Level: you may drop it off at 960 E Walnut St, Pasadena, CA 91106.  Leave it in a bag clearly marked "For Troop 21".
