Restore Carolina - Restoring Power, Homes & Hope - One Family at a Time

After the devastating floods caused by Hurricane Helene, approximately 100,000 homes were damaged or destroyed and many families in Western North Carolina were left homeless, relying on campers and generators for survival. Many months later, families are still without electricity! Our organization was born out of a deep need—and an even deeper sense of community.

Our mission is simple: To get families living in campers and temporary houses off generators and reconnected to safe, reliable power.

But it doesn’t stop there. We also help repair homes and provide resources for long-term recovery, ensuring that those hit hardest by the storm aren’t left behind. Our team is made up of boots-on-the-ground volunteers who live right here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We know this land, we love this land, and we’re here to help it heal—one family at a time.

With every wire we run, every home we help repair, and every hand we hold, we aim to bring light back into the lives of those affected—not just literally, but spiritually too.
