With our friends at the Winona County Historical Society, we are reaching out to offer a time for further connection, resource sharing, and planning amongst those of us living in the wide Winona region.

Please consider joining us back in Wanek Hall at the Winona County History Center (160 Johnson Street) on Saturday, April 27 from 2:00 - 3:30pm.

We are offering this time as a space to reflect on February's Honoring Dakota Project conversation, consider emerging goals, build points of connection between our individual and collective efforts, and share news of further programming and events coming up. Coffee, tea, water, and light snacks will be provided.

We will see our friends from Honoring Dakota and Prairie Island Indian Community next for the Cultural Competency Trainings. We are happy to share that this will be held on Thursday, May 23, and we will be sharing further information and the RSVP for that in the weeks ahead. Deep gratitude for your all’s support in making this powerful space of learning possible.

Please also put the evening of Saturday, June 8 on your calendars for the closing festivities with Joseph J. Allen for his Hakikta exhibition currently on view at the Winona County History Center. Further media on Joseph’s tremendous exhibition will be released this spring, and the show can be viewed at the History Center from 10:00am - 4:00pm each day.
