IMPORTANT UPDATE: We have just learned of a 1 year old child suffering from retinoblastoma (cancer of the eye) in a rural district of Tanzania. This child was identified on the most recent cataract outreach camp performed by MUHAS and supported by both FOCUS and Charity Vision. Early detection means that the cancer is likely treatable and that surgery and chemotherapy should be curative. More will become clear after an MRI is performed in the near future. Our trusted partners in Tanzania strongly believe that surgery and chemotherapy will save this child's life. This management is available but the family is unable to afford the cost of treatment, about $3,000. From here on out, 100% of every ticket purchased or donation made goes directly toward saving the life of this young kid. Without treatment, this child will die. Together we have the power to make an incredible impact. Any amount raised over $3,000 will be put toward the care of another child in need.
