About KRDP Jazz (90.7 FM)

KRDP Jazz 90.7 FM enriches central Arizonans through educational, trauma-informed programming celebrating Arizona’s rich history as a cultivator of Jazz, Blues, R&B, and Soul music. In short, we aim to be the Valley’s Home for Jazz & Community. Jazz music is one of many cultural expressions of our struggle and we aim to honor it by listening to and learning from it. KRDP Jazz 90.7 FM also has a dual role to serve as a radio broadcast voice for Black Arizona, providing a safe, culturally relevant space for us to build community by sharing our arts, our culture, our music and our information. We want to continue to offer a space for local Black businesses to promote their product or service. We want to continue to offer space on our air-waves for Black musicians who've been put in the back of the playlist on other radio stations. We want to continue to feature our expertise in the field. We want to contiue to provide a space for us to discuss our many perspectives on current events. We want to continue to teach through authentic conversations about our history. We want to continue to celebrate the now and see ourselves in the future.
