The New York-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Asia Contemporary Art Forum (ACAF), is raising funds on behalf of Arts for Afghanistan, a coalition of artists and arts professionals that have come together (since August 2021) in support of Afghan artists and cultural workers at risk in Afghanistan. The money that you donate to this fundraiser ($75,000 goal) will support the cost of visa applications, transit, and resettlements of a number of artists and families in danger.

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

We need urgent support to help us facilitate the transit and resettlement of Afghan Artists and Cultural Workers who have risked so much over the years to create independent, defiant, and transformative work—and whose lives are now in danger as a result.

Afghanistan’s dreamers, and the keepers of its history, must survive if a new vision of its future is ever to emerge. Now is the time to dig deep into your hearts and wallets to give generously.
