Phi Gamma Nu Gamma Xi Chapter at IUP

Hello! I am Sophia Cirelli, a junior Provost Scholar student at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am a Small Business Entrepreneurship Management Major with a minor in Marketing. I am Dean’s List student every semester I have been enrolled at IUP and am also a member of the Robert E. Cook Honors College at IUP which elevates my education and career goals. I am also an Aramark Collegiate Hospitality and Marketing intern while being a full time student at IUP.
I am a new pledge member of the Phi Gamma Nu Gamma Xi Chapter at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania for Spring of 2025 which is a co-ed business development fraternity that values “professional, social, and philanthropy.” For example, a part of our philanthropy efforts is through the Haven Project at IUP which is the department on campus that assists students with the issues of sexual violence, domestic/dating violence, and stalking. Even as a new member I am collaborating with the original members and my pledge class to take food and clothing to the food bank located at Wallwork Hall at IUP to support students in need in my school and community. For showing my efforts and commitment, I was named the Vice President of my pledge class of the Spring 2025.

I am working to fundraise money towards my senior fall semester as a member of Phi Gamma Nu because it requires members to contribute towards the group’s activities, events, philanthropy goals, and business objectives in our founding pillars of professional, social, and philanthropy. I would be honored to be supported by you! Thank you for allowing me to grow and participate in a meaningful group like PGN!
