Special Olympics Fundraising Campaign!

The Special Olympics provide a year round opportunity for individuals with intellectual disablities to experience competition, joy and triumph. Training for events allow an individual to discover athletic abilities they might have never known they had, and through competition, bonds of friendship and encouragement are formed that last a lifetime. 

Traveling to and from these events can often be financially burdensome, where either the individuals or agency that supports them are required to cover the costs of renting a vehicle, fuel, lodging and food. Many of the individuals who participate are on limited incomes, which often only cover the essentials needed for daily living. Community activites are often seen as a luxury, which is unfortunate considering all the benefits they offer to help someone live a fullfilling life. 

A Better Way of Living is committed to ensuring that the individuals we support are granted the opportunity to engage in this very meaningful event. Donations will go toward coverning all costs of participating in Special Olympics. Thank you for all your support.
