But in California—where schools rank among the lowest in per-student funding nationally—many of the programs, supplies, and experiences our children deserve simply aren’t covered by the school budget. That’s where we step in.

At Táawila PTA, every meeting, event, and fundraiser is an opportunity to bridge the gap—funding classroom essentials, STEAM nights, field trips, and the moments that make school memorable. Together, we’re creating a school where parents feel empowered, teachers feel supported, and students feel celebrated. It’s about showing up, working together, and surrounding every child with a community that believes in them.
