Mission

Table Talk brings people from diverse backgrounds together in social, public spaces for meaningful conversations about life, spirituality, and God. In these welcoming environments, where all views are welcomed without judgment, the focus is on listening well and asking thoughtful questions so people have a safe space to share openly. As these discussion groups form community outside the church, each month’s conversation centers on a different life topic where natural gospel connections are made and Jesus is shown to be relevant to real life. Table Talk helps ordinary Christians cultivate a sustainable rhythm of relational conversations that reflect the way Jesus engaged people.

Vision

Table Talk is designed to adapt to many different environments and communities. It can take place in leadership development settings and in the business world, military communities, youth gatherings, and in any culture in the world, as well as in venues like cigar lounges, restaurants, coffee shops, retirement communities, homes, and pizza shops. By focusing on listening, asking thoughtful questions, and engaging real life topics, Table Talk creates multiethnic and multigenerational conversations where introverts and extroverts can work together so that every believer can participate in missional living.

Impact

Through Table Talk, ordinary Christians are equipped to create welcoming spaces where meaningful conversations can happen naturally. As people gather around the table, relationships are formed, trust is built, and the message of the gospel connects to the realities people face in life. Through the work of the Holy Spirit moving in the hearts of those at the table, many have come to place their faith in Jesus. Today, Table Talk gatherings are taking place both locally and globally as more people embrace this simple way of living out their faith through conversation.
