Every day, sacred Taino artifacts—cemís, ceremonial tools, and ancestral carvings—are listed for sale on various auction sites and private marketplaces. To the world, these are "collectibles." To us, they are living connections to our lineage and spiritual identity that belong in the hands of the community, not in a private trophy case.

Our Mission: The Sacred Recovery Project

TFH haa launched an initiative to actively monitor these websites and purchase back these sacred objects. Our goal is to "rescue" these items from the private market and place them into a permanent, protected collection at the Taino Fun House, where they can be studied, honored, and shared with the public.

The market for indigenous antiquities is competitive and expensive. Your financial support will go directly into a dedicated Repatriation Fund used to:

Secure Sacred Items: Outbid private collectors to ensure artifacts return to indigenous stewardship.

Authentication: Work with experts to verify the provenance and history of recovered pieces.

Preservation: Provide professional conservation to ensure these centuries-old items do not degrade.
