Take to the Journey with me to Ghana-Togo 2026

Ghana & Togo Social Work Mission 2026

May 16–31, 2026

In May 2026, The Vineyard Foundation will return to Ghana for its eighth year of sustained partnership — strengthening rural schools, providing clean water, and advancing the Gospel through tangible service.

This mission focuses on the Central Tongu District in Ghana, where many schools lack access to modern teacher development and where families still depend on unsafe water sources. In partnership with trusted local leaders, we are implementing a holistic initiative that addresses education, health, and spiritual renewal together.

This is not a short-term visit. It is a long-term commitment rooted in relationship, accountability, and sustainability.

What This Mission Will Do

Strengthen Teachers.
We will conduct practical, hands-on training for primary and junior high educators — equipping them with learner-centered strategies, classroom tools, and methods that immediately improve student outcomes. One trained teacher influence dozens of students every year.

Improving Access to Quality Health Care.

The Vineyard Foundation is partnering with the Vume Kpoviadzi community in Ghana’s Volta Region to establish a hospital laboratory that will provide reliable and timely diagnostic services for local families. Many residents currently travel long distances for basic testing, delaying care and increasing costs. This project will bring essential laboratory services closer to home, helping doctors diagnose illnesses sooner and improving health outcomes for the entire community. Your support helps make accessible healthcare possible.

Provide Clean Water.
The Vineyard Foundation will break ground to construct a manual borehole that will provide clean, reliable water to several villages. Access to safe water reduces waterborne disease, improves school attendance, and relieves women and children from long daily journeys to collect water. This project restores dignity, health, and opportunity to families. With an expected completion in July 2027, it will also mark the first social work mission team project led by the Vineyard Foundation.

Advance Faith in Action and Community Outreach in Togo

The Vineyard Foundation will travel to Togo for the first time in partnership with the Fafali Organization, working alongside local churches to serve the community through faith, compassion, and collaboration. Through consultations with traditional leaders, pastors, teachers, parents, and youth, we will identify priority needs and conduct a community and medical outreach. Supplies distributed will include notebooks, pens, markers, pen drives, Bluetooth speakers, a drum set for youth engagement, and seed contributions to support sustainable community growth.

Expanding STEM Education, Improving Education Literacy, and collaboration with local partners

The Vineyard Foundation will continue strengthening its local partnerships by expanding access to reading materials and enhancing library services at the Apostle Senyo Library in Kpoviadzi Village. Working in collaboration with local churches, schools, and community leaders, this effort reflects our faith-based commitment to invest in the intellectual and spiritual growth of children and families. Through our trusted local partners, we will also support STEM education initiatives and school visits that encourage curiosity, learning, and opportunity. By equipping young minds with knowledge and resources, we seek to nurture hope, inspire leadership, and empower the next generation to build stronger, thriving communities.
