The Black Library has transformed the historic National Union Bank building on Broadway in Monticello into a beacon for culture, community, education, and pride.

Thousands have come through our doors to celebrate Black history and culture at music events, gallery exhibits, open mics, community meetings, and fashion shows. With a welcoming sunlit reading room and inspirational artist-in-residence program, TBL is creating a national model for arts-based grassroots empowerment that instills a sense of pride in self and community. We need this in the Catskills -- and everywhere.

But our funding is running dangerously low and we need your support to keep this project going.

Without your contributions and support, The Black Library will have to close its doors. To continue this journey and expand our impact, we will need everyone to chip in.
