As someone who knows first hand the benefits of funding for new research, early detection and more effective treatments for cancer, I am honored to run the LA Half Marathon to benefit Teen Cancer America. I have been running and fundraising for them for many years to support teens dealing with cancer. Cancer really sucks, but imagine having to go through an awful disease while also dealing with puberty, angst, insecurities, mean girls and zits. UGH!
