At The Dickinson Music Enrichment Center (TDMEC), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover what they can achieve through music, regardless of their family's ability to pay.

Through our Bridge to Band program, students can begin their musical journey as early as fourth grade. We provide free music instruction, instruments, transportation, mentorship, and opportunities to perform—removing the financial and transportation barriers that can keep young people from participating in music education.

But what we provide goes far beyond learning notes.

A student discovers the confidence to perform in front of an audience. A young musician finds a mentor who believes in them. Children build friendships, learn discipline, experience the joy of accomplishing something difficult, and discover a community where they belong.
