Join us for a backyard gathering to celebrate and say farewell to Lora Orta, Montclair's teacher of the deaf. Lora is a recipient of the Judy Weston Award, she has worked in Montclair for nearly 20 years and has served as a tireless advocate for children with hearing loss. In addition, Lora has worked diligently to provide access and exposure to American Sign Language for many of our Montclair school students. She leads the high school ASL club and works in the elementary schools to provide ASL instruction in the classroom. She will be missed!
