The Team Ireland Baseball program, run by Emerald Diamond International with support from the Irish American Baseball Society and the Ancient Order of Hibernians, provides baseball players of Irish heritage the opportunity to represent their heritage on the diamond.

The goals of the Team Ireland Baseball program are:

To identify, evaluate, and develop players who are, or qualify to become, citizens of Ireland.
To provide opportunities for players of Irish heritage to represent their heritage through baseball.
To provide a positive baseball experience for all players with an emphasis on teaching, respect, and player development.

2026 Fundraising Drive
Team Ireland Baseball is raising money to cover the costs of this summer’s tournament schedule. Funds raised will also go toward building the future of the sport by supporting youth baseball programs across Ireland. That includes providing equipment, coaching resources, and opportunities for young players to learn and compete. Every contribution helps grow the game at the grassroots level while ensuring that the best players from around the world are given an opportunity to represent their heritage and their families.

Team Ireland Baseball is a youth baseball program with a mission to deepen the connection between Irish dual-citizen baseball players and their heritage while strengthening youth baseball in Ireland. The program supports grassroots development of youth baseball in Ireland and creates a clear pathway for talented Irish-born players to represent Ireland on the baseball field in international competition.

The program also seeks to foster long-term collaboration among players, coaches, and families in Ireland and the United States, promoting equal treatment for Irish citizens and fair consideration for Irish Americans who are not citizens.
