The excitement was palpable in both consolation finals matches at last season's CHSAA Championships. Hayden Grice and Teagan Jacobs had excellent tournaments and finished 3rd and 5th respectively. It's been a number of years since Grand Valley High School had more than one wrestler standing on the podium at the state championships. Overall, Team Grand Valley brought six wrestlers to Denver to compete in the creme de la creme event in Colorado prep wrestling.

Team Grand Valley plans on building on it's success from last season, with three returning state qualifiers. The theme this year is "Life doesn't get easier, you just get stronger." The Cardinals expect to be exactly that...stronger.

With your support, the Grand Valley High School Cardinals wrestling team will be able to provide lodging for the team as they will be traveling more to compete against new and tougher competition. It will also help them purchase new equipment (video equipment, Mat Boss subscription, Ironneck, crash pad, exercise bands, stationary bikes, and pull-up bars). It also helps provide any wrestlers that qualify for state with additional swag. Finally, the hope is to build a summer camp fund to help get more wrestlers to wrestling camps in the off season.
