Isabelle Hunt's Story
Hello! This will be my first time running the Philadelphia Marathon! Growing up, I got to see my mom cross the finish line of a marathon 16 times. I still remember her first marathon, the Philadelphia Marathon. Specifically, I remember standing with my grandfather as she passed by us. He died a few years later from metastasized esophageal cancer. My grandfather was her inspiration to start running marathons and now he is mine too. I'm running this marathon in memory of him.
