A new Chessboxing Champion has appeared! His name is, James Canty III. On September 23-28, I will be competing for Team USA for the World Championship title in Serbia. I started boxing 3 years ago, and immediately fell in love with the sport, not knowing that I would become incredibly good at it, from sparring, to training like a Professional Boxer, I knew this was something that I wanted to continue to do. Matthew Thomas, World Champion Chess Boxer, introduced me to Chessboxing, and I was hooked ever since! With my chess skills that I continuously work to improve, and my boxing skills that I train just like my chess, I know that I have a very good chance to compete at the highest level of Chessboxing and become a World Champion Chessboxer. I appreciate any help and support towards this goal for expenses to help me, and Team USA a World Champion Chessboxing team, and a World Champion Chessboxer!
