Since 2016, I've had the honor of collaborating with Priscilla Walton, the visionary founder and principal of Elm Community Charter School. I've proudly served on the board since the school's inception. Priscilla's dedication to fostering excellent educational opportunities for diverse learners has been a continual source of inspiration.

Elm Community Charter School, designed to cultivate a love for learning, nurture creativity, and empower students to realize their full potential, is thriving. Recently, it earned a full renewal from SUNY, acknowledging its impressive academic achievements among its 400-plus students. In alignment with the State of New York's introduction of computerized testing this year, Elm is committed to equipping all 5th-grade students with MacBooks. This initiative aims to develop their technological skills in preparation for the transition to computerized testing.
