Tenki for Born is a 100% volunteer organization — Tenki Board and staff, all unpaid. Since our first OB ultrasound course in Bo District in March 2022, every donation has gone to equipment, training, and sustaining in-country programs in Sierra Leone.

What this fund does next

Right now, 10 Butterfly iQ+ ultrasound probes are operational in rural clinics — and midwives we trained have already performed more than 750 scans with them. In January 2027 we return to expand OB ultrasound training to 10 more clinics — each one needs its own probe, plus the tablets, gel, and solar power that keep it scanning long after we fly home.

Your gift also keeps Books on Wheels rolling — mobile libraries reaching six rural villages, with mentors logging 2,500+ learner interactions a season — and launches Strengthen Our Sierra Leoneans (SOS), community aid designed after three days of listening, not assuming.
