Hi! We're Wesley King and Jacob Heinz, and over quarantine, we finished writing our first show, Ten Year. Ten Year is a queer musical centered around the life of Sam. Sam is stuck in the past. He’s worked the same job, lived in the same house, even ordered the same coffee for what feels like forever now. This weekend is not only his ten year high school reunion, but also his one chance to get answers and see if the first love he’s held onto for a decade could be rekindled.

We wanted to write a slice-of-life story that wasn't centered around the topic of coming out but rather one that normalizes seeing a queer character on stage facing challenges and emotions just like everyone else.

Ten Year was workshopped on October 14-16, 2021 in Nashville, TN.

Now, here's where you come in! We want to bring Ten Year to a stage in the Nashville area soon, and as anyone even remotely close to the Arts knows, this is no small feat. Producing a show, especially a musical, comes with numerous challenges, and as two independent, freelance artists, we recognize that we can't do this alone.

By supporting this new piece of art, you will help us:
