St. Katharine Drexel Preparatory School is a Catholic, private college preparatory school that provides for the holistic development of Christian young ladies through the harmonious blending of spiritual, moral, intellectual, and physical strengths. Drexel Prep stresses academic excellence while cultivating students' self-esteem & leadership skills to improve local and global communities.

Prep bases its philosophy on the belief that the total educational program nurtures and challenges the students, each of whom has unique gifts & talents. Preparing students to live with compassion, dignity, and responsibility in a constantly evolving world is Drexel Prep's ultimate purpose. This includes preparation for a variety of post secondary options. A strong discipline program, a challenging curriculum, varied co-curricular activities, and a community service program provides an integrated means for fulfilling this mission.

Now, more than ever, your donation will maintain our mission and tradition. Your donation supports Prep's Annual Fund, the yearly general campaign that is a critical part of Prep's fundraising efforts and allows us to designate funds to the areas of greatest need. Our mission and tradition of providing the best Prep education possible is challenged each year by rising costs to its annual operations for the school. These donations go directly to the school, helping us pay for academic programs, operational costs such as books, supplies, teacher and staff salaries, insurance, mortgage, electricity, gas, COVID protocols, and Hurricane Ida, etc. just like the rising costs you face at home and in your business. Tuition doesn't cover the full cost to educate each student. It is this support that allows us to keep our tuition amongst the lowest of metro schools in the New Orleans area.
