On November 18, 2007, Leuk's Landing opened its doors to provide sanctuary and advocacy for kitties with Feline Leukemia (FeLV). As of November 2024, about 500 cats and kittens have passed through our doors. On average we have about 75 in our care, 20-22 onsite in the sanctuary and 50-55 in long term foster homes.

The money raised from this fundraiser will go to purchasing cat litter and some wet cat food and likable treats since the donations of these has dried up this fall and winter so far. We work with two food banks that receive donations from pet food and supply manufacturers and these donations have dropped off significantly. As our supplies dwindle, we will need to purchase some of these items. The money will also help to pay for our vet bills and medications.

We appreciate the generosity of one individual who every year provides matching funds for the first $1000 in donations.
