The Adventures of Beastie is a one-person, interactive performance about imagination, play, and the voice that tells us to stop.

Using movement, mime, and onomatopoeia, Beastie builds entire worlds alongside the audience, only to have them challenged by a growing sense of doubt. The piece asks a simple question: what happens to our sense of play as we grow up?

Created at Hamilton College and recently featured at PhysFestNYC, we’re bringing this show to the Denver and Portland Fringe Festivals to continue its journey and connect with new communities. Your support helps make it possible to share this work and keep developing it.
