Our Mission

The Artemis Bass Initiative is dedicated to advancing the careers of women and non-binary bassists through mentorship, community, and professional development. We believe in fostering a more inclusive and diverse classical music landscape, one where all bassists have opportunities to succeed.

Our Impact

Through our programs, we provide bassists with the tools they need to succeed:

Mentorship Program: Personalized guidance from established professionals who offer career coaching, audition preparation, and industry insights.

Orchestral Training Program: High-level instruction and performance opportunities designed to prepare musicians for professional careers.

Seminar Series: Exclusive workshops and discussions addressing key topics such as navigating auditions, performance anxiety, and career sustainability

Why Your Support Matters

Your support directly enables us to:

Provide scholarships to talented musicians facing financial barriers.
Expand mentorship opportunities to reach more aspiring artists.
Develop new initiatives that address systemic inequities in classical music.
Sustain our mentorship program, seminar series, and orchestral training program
