Only about 24% of CFP® professionals are women, and that number has barely moved in over a decade. Women control more than $5 trillion in investable assets and increasingly drive household financial decisions — yet the industry serving them still doesn't reflect them.

Part of the problem is what happens when women step out of the workforce, even briefly, for caregiving. Women's declining labor force participation costs the U.S. economy an estimated $650 billion a year. A career break doesn't just cost a paycheck — it costs re-entry momentum, confidence, and a foothold in an industry that's hard enough to break into the first time.

The Asset Class exists to close that gap. We sponsor women re-entering the workforce (or changing careers into financial services) through the FPQP® (Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™) designation — a credential that doesn't require years of prior experience, just a fast, real way back in.

Selected candidates don't just work through the material alone — they navigate the FPQP® designation alongside personalized, one-on-one training with Marie Lovett, founder of Maker City Paraplanner, to ensure full comprehension of the material, answers to their questions, and personalized guidance along the way.

This isn't just about a job. It's about flexible work that lets women support their families financially without sacrificing the ability to be present for their kids — to stay involved in the daily moments that matter, not just show up for them on weekends. Financial services can offer that flexibility when the industry makes room for it.

When you sponsor a woman through this program, you're funding more than a credential. You're funding a return to the workforce on her terms, a step toward closing the industry's gender gap, and a pipeline of future paraplanners, CSAs, and eventually CFP® professionals — including, potentially, your own next hire.

100% of all donated funds will be put forth towards the cost of the FPQP® designation. As of this posting, the program fee is $1,495.
