Support The Election Hub
Local elections shape our daily lives—but reliable information about them is harder to find than ever.
We exist to change that.
Civic Knowledge Initiative and The Election Hub provide free, non-partisan election information for voters across North Carolina and the Charlotte region, helping people cut through misinformation and understand the candidates and issues that affect their communities. We provide unbiased information about statewide and local races in North Carolina and the Charlotte region, using social media, community partnerships, a website, podcasts, videos, events, and local media.
This work takes time, expertise, and resources—and we don’t charge voters for access.
Your support makes it possible for every voter, regardless of income or background, to make informed choices at the ballot box.
Democracy depends on informed participation. By making it easier to research candidates and understand issues, the Hub combats misinformation, promotes democratic participation and helps hold public officials accountable, ensuring voters can make informed choices that strengthen transparency and trust in government. Please donate today to keep this resource free and available to all.
$50 helps us hire more reporters who can research more candidates and issues for first time voters, busy voters and voters who are often overlooked.
