The Unavoidable Moment

In October 2023, I stood in a Nairobi slum, listening to a man named Michael explain why there were no elders in the community. Not because they didn’t exist — but because hopelessness had hollowed out a generation of men.

These weren’t bad men. They were broken men. Men surviving, not leading. Men who had never seen what it looked like to be a father, a mentor, a man of honor.

Monthly and 1 time Support will provide:

Travel expenses to launch a group

Experiential excursions that the men will participate in prior to launch

All materials needed for participants (Books, personal journals)

Any on the ground costs that me be incurred to facilitate a meeting place for cohort

Help with technology challenges that they may have (Ex. starlink if needed)

Startup costs for the organization

Ongoing administration costs (technology, website, etc.)
