Rahma is a widowed mother in Gaza. Her husband passed away while she was pregnant with their son, Ahmed.

Since then, Rahma has been doing everything she can to protect her child without a stable home, a breadwinner, or reliable support. On difficult nights, she and Ahmed waited for relatives to make space for them inside their tent.

Through The Rise Project, And Still I Rise Foundation made the first move. We were able to provide Rahma and Ahmed with a tent of their own, a small but powerful beginning.

Every act of kindness becomes another step forward for Rahma and Ahmed, helping provide the simple essentials that make a shelter feel like home and reminding them that hope is still alive.
