The Shakespeare Foundation, founded in 2023, is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Los Angeles, California, dedicated to benefitting research, the arts, and education. It aims to expand our understanding and knowledge of the great author in constructive, factual and informative ways. Its work seeks to answer the questions: Who was Shakespeare? What is his relevance today? What is hidden in the altar stone at Holy Trinity Church?

The Foundation’s board of directors is comprised of scholars, educators, business executives, and artists who are passionate about Shakespeare and all he has contributed to humanity.
