About The Women's Advocacy Center

Our organization was established in 2018 by attorney R. Romona Jackson, along with three friends who formed the initial board. Their goal was to create a holistic safe space for women, addressing the needs of domestic abuse survivors.

Through our 24-month Safe Families Program, we provide essential economic support, a sense of community, and opportunities for personal growth and healing. We also provide 24-months of support for children who have lived through the adversity of abuse in their homes.

Our dedicated and trauma-informed staff and volunteers handle daily interactions with clients. Donors and Community Changemakers contribute to our mission through on-going encouragement, financial support, and prayers.

If you can offer at least one hour per week to our organization or wish to become a monthly supporter, please sign up as a volunteer by visiting our website at www.womensadvocacycenter.org.
